Our partner, a successful company in the Internet publishing sector, is looking for a Java Developer (m/f/d) to drive the development of its digital platform in the area of finance products. This is a full-time permanent position onsite in Munich, Germany (partial work from home is possible).

Relocation from abroad is possible. We will take care of your visa application and relocation to Germany. Your family members (spouse, children under 18 years old) will get a visa as well).

    Your responsibilities:

    • Design, implement and further develop innovative features for the platform
    • Integrate with various third-party vendors and service providers (banks, identification service providers, and marketing service providers)
    • Take system architecture decisions
    • Work directly with product managers in an agile environment
    • Full system responsibility in small teams
    • Enforce quality goals in pull requests

    Required qualifications:

    • At least a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an information technology field
    • Strong professional experience in Java development
    • Solid experience in modern microservices architecture in a Java context
    • Knowledge in the creation and connection of interfaces via REST, SOAP
    • Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, and related tools like JDBC, Spring Data JDBC, or similar technologies
    • Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins as well as Docker
    • Enthusiasm about new things, strong quality awareness and a goal-oriented way of working
    • Fluent in English (at least C1)
